About

Axis Bank, as the 3rd largest private sector bank in India, provides a comprehensive range of financial services to various customer segments, including Large and Mid-Corporates, MSME, Agriculture, and Retail Businesses. Brandbook, a reputable web design and development company, joined forces with another design studio for an exciting journey, collaborating with Axis Bank. Together, we undertook the challenge of delivering a segment of their website and mobile app, aligning with Axis Bank's specific needs and goals, all within the set timeframe.

The Mission

Understanding the intricate banking data and structuring it into a cohesive user flow posed a significant challenge. Nevertheless, our expertise in creating great user experience, and a skilled team enabled us to overcome these obstacles.

DISCOVER

Banking terms can be both straightforward and complex to comprehend, especially when delving into the underlying processes to create a meaningful screen interface. We are grateful to Axis for providing valuable insights and feedback, which have enhanced our understanding of banking practices helping us to create screens that actually matters.

DESIGN

Upon identifying the critical focus areas and requirements for creating a successful Loan Onboarding process, we aligned with Axis's design guidelines to establish a robust design direction. This direction fully leveraged Axis's brand guidelines across all interfaces, ensuring a cohesive and effective user experience. Throughout the design process, we consistently referenced this approach to ensure alignment with our objectives

COLOUR

To truly capture the essence of our concept, we didn't have much freedom in selecting colors.

Wireframes

Wireframes are incredibly useful as they provide a comprehensive understanding of the entire process without diving into creating actual screens. They save a significant amount of time by facilitating interactions and gathering feedback from stakeholders.

UI Design

Creating user interfaces for both the mobile and website screens became a more enjoyable and seamless process once we had understood the complexities of banking data and how exactly loan process works.

Conclusion - what we learnt from this project

Despite completing wireframes, information architecture, and developing the website and mobile apps, the work was not entirely finished. Real user testing remained a crucial step, and we conducted rigorous testing sessions to identify and address pain points before the final releases.
